When London-based photographer, Steven Morris, first came to Australia to shoot photographs for wineries he was struck by the incredible Australian light and the way it rendered colours with a unique brilliance. When Steven was approached by his Australian friend, Mardi Zeunert, to compile a book they decided to take their inspiration from the simple colour wheel and go from there.
Vintage Colour is a collection of over 100 of Steven’s photographs taken on his visits to Australia’s wine regions over the past 10 years. A modern and simple design celebrates the diversity of the wine industry and conveys the hard work and good humour of the people who make it happen.
